It depends on the in-build designs of a door that the door will work properly or not. Automatic and semi-automatic doors are being used everywhere now days. There are lots of self-powered door to be seen. Sometimes people cannot find out that how to use a automatic door because there are lot of doors and all these designs have been made by different techniques.
When you enter in a building, you will find a door in front of you. If the door is automatic it opens itself but if it is manual, you will have to pull or push the handle of door to open it. There are lot of cases in which injuries has happened due to malfunctioning of doors both automatic and non-automatic. Sometimes people do not use a door properly and that can be a cause of injuries.
Lot of injuries done by an automatic door is because that the doors were not repaired and maintained when they needed. Cut off sensory integration and inappropriately adjusted door controls can sometimes stop a door from working and can become dangerous. People some time do not move carefully while using a revolving door may be because of hurry or they keeping talking with other people and get injured. Some older people who are used to of traditional door find it hard to use an automatic one and get hurt.
Manual as well as automatic door manufacturers are determined to test their door in a lab before selling it but still there is lot of cases of injured person by both type of door. There are some doors, which do not work on certain places, but overall the doors are being manufactured with proper understanding of convenience and safety of people.
In a store where heavy objects are being brought through the door on daily basis automatic door will work better, but because the automatic door can malfunction easily within little bit problem of system owner will go for a manual door with code and security systems. Some manufacturers are claiming that automatic doors are safer that non-automatic doors but this is just a lie.
